Vegan Puff Pastry Recipe

ingredients needed

  • 2 tbsp Rambell Buttermilk Powder
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped curry leaves
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • For Tempering (Optional but traditional) 1 tsp oil ½ tsp mustard seeds ½ tsp cumin seeds A pinch of asafoetida (hing)

  • Prepare the Buttermilk In a bowl or jug, add Rambell Buttermilk Powder and cold water. Whisk well until the powder dissolves completely and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Add Fresh Flavors Add salt, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, grated ginger, and green chili. Mix well.
  • Prepare the Tempering (Optional) Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida, then sauté briefly until fragrant
  • Finish the Buttermilk Pour the tempering into the prepared buttermilk and mix gently.
  • Chill and Serve Serve immediately or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes for a more refreshing taste.
